Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations by monitoring vital signs, conducting physical examinations, and evaluating physiological responses to treatment plans.
- Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols, including IV infusions and medication management for pain control or chronic conditions.
- Assist with medical procedures such as catheterization, wound suturing, tube feeding, and sterile dressing changes while maintaining aseptic techniques.
- Document all patient interactions meticulously within electronic health record (EHR) systems like PCC, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, case managers, and therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to urgent situations such as acute pain episodes or airway management needs in emergency or critical care settings like ICU or Level I Trauma Centers.
Skills
- Proven experience working with diverse populations including seniors in geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or patients in hospice or palliative care environments.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Skilled in using EMR/EHR systems such as PCC for accurate medical documentation and specimen processing.

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
