Job Title: Clinical Research Assistant
Job Type: Part-Time (Fully Remote)
Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Clinical Research Assistant to support ongoing clinical studies. This is a fully remote position focused primarily on patient outreach, pre-screening, and scheduling activities for multiple orthopedic clinical trials for novel regenerative products. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about anatomy, comfortable speaking with patients over the phone, highly organized, and experienced with clinical workflows and electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound phone calls to potential study participants to complete pre-screening assessments
- Review study criteria and determine preliminary eligibility based on structured scripts and protocols
- Schedule qualified participants for screening visits using the clinic’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Accurately document all patient interactions and pre-screening outcomes in the EHR and study systems
- Maintain organized tracking logs for patient outreach and scheduling activities
- Ensure compliance with study protocols, GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with the clinical site team regarding scheduling updates and patient status
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator, Research Assistant, or similar role preferred
- Strong communication skills, especially over the phone
- Experience with patient recruitment or call-based outreach
- Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Medidata, or similar)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Comfortable handling confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA
