Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Scanning Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be on a small team responsible for overseeing the scanning and price changes at Bowmans Market. Your primary focus will be ensuring accurate price.
Duties
- Coordinate daily price activities using mobile data collection software and barcode scanners to ensure accurate prices.
- Support retail store teams with merchandising tasks such as creating signs, pricing products, and optimizeing sales displays.
- Conduct regular analysis of scanned data to identify discrepancies, trends, or areas for improvement in inventory management.
- Assist with customer support by addressing inquiries related to product availability, pricing, and store operations through effective communication skills.
- Utilize computer skills to operate mobile devices, update databases, and generate reports using Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail store operations, sales, or price inventory management is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical proficiency in using mobile data collection software, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic math skills for inventory calculations, pricing adjustments, and sales transactions.
- Customer service experience with a focus on supporting retail operations and resolving inquiries professionally.
- Previous experience with cash register operations or cashiering is advantageous but not required.
Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 6am-2pm
- Wednesday 4am-12pm
- Occasional Saturday when requested by Store Director
