Job description:
We are seeking an energetic General Manager to lead the operations of our New Albany, Holiday Inn Express.
In this role, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional guest experiences, fostering a dynamic team environment, and ensuring the hotel’s financial success. Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, front desk management, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to ensure seamless daily functioning.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
- Oversee budgeting, financial management, and cost control initiatives to achieve profitability targets.
- Supervise and motivate a diverse team of department heads and staff, fostering a positive work environment focused on teamwork and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and hospitality regulations while maintaining rigorous standards for guest satisfaction.
- Manage guest relations proactively by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring memorable experiences that encourage repeat visits.
- Maintain effective communication across departments.
- Implement revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy rates and average daily rates in line with market trends.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in hospitality management, including hotel operations, guest services, and resort environments.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams across multiple departments while fostering a culture of hospitality and accountability.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse guests and staff.
- Experience managing guest relations programs to enhance guest satisfaction scores consistently.
- IHG brand experience is preferred, but not required.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
