Overview
Club Xcite is hiring General Education Teachers to support students in public-school settings within the Yreka, CA area. This is a full time assignment for the 2026/2027 school year.
- Local Pay Rate: $55- $60per hour
- Traveler Pay Rate: $2156- $2313weekly*
- *includes untaxed travel stipends for 32.5-hour week
- Setting: 6th Grade, Multi-Subject teacher - Public School
- Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30a -2:30p
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with California state standards and district curriculum
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, classroom participation, and standardized assessments
- Collaborate with school staff, administrators, parents, and support personnel to enhance student outcomes
- Participate in parent conferences, staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide activities
- Maintain accurate attendance, grade, and progress records in accordance with district policies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
- Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
- Previous classroom teaching experience preferred
- Experience working with upper elementary and/or middle school students preferred
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
- Ability to meet district and state compliance requirements
