This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting quality control (QC) inspections, and supporting general warehouse operations. The position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong data management skills, and the flexibility to contribute across multiple functional areas. The role plays a key part in maintaining inventory integrity, ensuring product quality, and supporting day-to-day warehouse activity.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Control & Reporting:
· Maintain accurate inventory records within the company’s ERP or inventory management system.
· Conduct routine cycle counts and full physical inventory audits to ensure system accuracy.
· Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies; provide documentation and root cause analysis.
· Generate inventory reports and support data needs for purchasing, operations, and finance.
· Monitor stock levels, suggest reorder points, and ensure efficient stock rotation.
Quality Control (QC):
· Perform inspection of incoming materials and finished products according to defined standards.
· Identify, document, and escalate non-conforming items; support corrective action processes.
· Maintain inspection logs and ensure consistent application of quality procedures.
· Work cross-functionally to support product quality initiatives and continuous improvement.
Warehouse Support:
· Assist with daily warehouse functions including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and stocking.
· Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks (certification preferred or provided).
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with safety protocols.
· Support internal transfers and proper product labeling and location management.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or quality assurance is a plus.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory control, quality inspection, or warehouse operations.
· Strong accuracy and attention to detail in both physical tasks and data entry.
· Proficiency with inventory software or ERP systems; capable of generating and interpreting reports.
· Ability to read and understand inspection criteria, product specs, or technical documentation.
· Organized and self-directed with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Forklift certification or ability to be trained and certified.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on feet for extended periods.
· Capable of working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
