Overview
Her Mind Tulsa is seeking a dedicated and experienced contract therapist who specializes in maternal mental health. This role is ideal for a licensed therapist or candidate passionate about walking with women through the emotional complexities of fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. You’ll join a supportive team and have the flexibility to build your own caseload while making a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including motivational interviewing, counseling, to support client progress.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with ICD-10 standards.
- Collect data on client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers and participate in case management meetings as needed.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health care and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
- A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Previous experience in mental health counseling.
- Familiarity with maternal mental health care and related therapeutic approaches is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in medical documentation practices and data collection methods is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds are crucial for success in this role.
