NYCOR is Hiring: Small Press Set-Up Operator – Great Opportunity!
NYCOR is seeking a Press Set-Up & Operator to set up and operate presses to produce quality parts to customer specifications.
Schedule & Pay:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- $28 – $36/hr. DOE
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate punch press and brake press machines (Amada, LVD, Cincinnati)
- Set up basic tooling and read job routings
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Use calipers, micrometers, and measuring tools
- Perform quality inspections and identify defects
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures
- Accurately record job data in system
- Support production goals and meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Experience operating punch press and brake press equipment
- Ability to read blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of quality and safety standards
