Mini Mocha Play Cafe is a locally owned indoor play cafe designed for young children and their families. We are an imagination-inspired playspace committed to nurturing play, creativity, and early learning. Children explore, create, socialize, and have fun while parents relax, connect with their children, and enjoy connecting with others.
Working at Mini Mocha means being part of a small, community-focused business where your work directly impacts local families. Our team helps create positive experiences for children and parents by providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and inviting play space, and supporting daily cafe operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Opening & Closing: Preparing Mini Mocha for the day and closing at the end of the day
- Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, and handling transactions for purchases (admission, drinks, snacks, retail ,etc.)
- Play Space Maintenance: Tidying up as needed while children are playing and sanitizing/cleaning at the end of the day.
- Café Service: Preparing and serving café drinks and snacks
- Inventory: Assisting with daily and monthly inventory tasks
- Cleaning: Using downtime to deep clean as much as possible
EXPERIENCE:
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Retail Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience
- Working with Children: Experience or comfort working with children
- Personality: Friendly and upbeat demeanor
- Pressure Management: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-Solving: Quickly addressing issues that arise while managing multiple tasks
- Conflict Resolution: Effective conflict-resolution skills
- Barista Experience: A plus, but not required

Pay: $10.00 per hour
