Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Caseworker to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs related to legal, treatment plans and social services to develop tailored recovery plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and crisis management support during emergency situations, ensuring safety and stability for clients.
- Collaborate with services, and other community agencies to coordinate care and resources.
- Support families through effective communication, conflict management, and family engagement strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, service plans, and progress notes using Microsoft Office tools.
- Assist clients with accessing resources for disabilities or high-risk populations, including applying for benefits or services.
- Deliver first aid and CPR when necessary to ensure immediate safety during emergencies.
- Work with culturally diverse communities with sensitivity and respect, fostering trust and engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with high-risk populations in social work or child welfare settings.
- Knowledge of child protective services, child & family services, family law, and social services frameworks.
- Strong crisis intervention and crisis management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and the ability to effectively document case details.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for report writing and record-keeping purposes.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse community members effectively.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in high-risk environments is preferred.
- Valid certifications in CPR and First Aid are required; ongoing training is encouraged.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while managing conflict professionally.
