Position Overview
P&P Security is currently seeking a professional and reliable Armed Security Officer to join our team. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and accountability. Officers will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment while providing a visible security presence.
Schedule Requirements (Strict)
- Friday – Sunday (Mandatory)
- 7:45 AM – 8:15 PM
- No exceptions – Applicants must be available for all scheduled days and hours
Responsibilities
- Provide a strong and visible armed security presence
- Monitor premises via CCTV
- Respond to incidents and emergencies as needed
- Enforce site rules, regulations, and safety procedures
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Minimum Qualifications (Required)
- Valid California Guard Card (BSIS)
- Valid Firearm Permit (BSIS)
- All permits must be current and up to date
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous armed security experience
- Experience working in high-traffic or sensitive environments
