Position Overview
We are seeking a high-performing, growth-oriented Associate Director of Recruitment to lead and scale our global Sales and Go-To-Market (GTM) talent acquisition efforts. Based in our San Jose headquarters, you will be the driving force behind expansion across our enterprise sales, account management, business development, and sales operations teams.
The ideal candidate is an aggressive recruitment leader with a proven track record of operating in high-quota, fast-paced environments. You understand the unique DNA required for elite sales talent, possess a deep network within the Silicon Valley sales ecosystem, and know how to build highly predictable, scalable sales hiring pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & GTM Talent Acquisition Leadership
· Design Sales Hiring Architecture: Develop and execute high-velocity, data-driven recruitment strategies specifically tailored to attract top-tier Enterprise Account Executives, Sales Leaders, Pre-Sales Engineers, and Customer Success professionals.
· Lead Executive Sales Searches: Personally drive high-impact, confidential executive-level sales searches (VPs, RVPs, and Directors) while managing a dedicated team of sales recruiters and sourcers.
· Optimize Sales Pipelines: Define clear performance metrics, service-level agreements (SLAs), and structured interview loops tailored for competitive commission/bonus-based sales profiles.
· Build Predictable Talent Pools: Establish continuous pipeline programs to account for sales team attrition, rapid market expansion, and territory growth goals.
2. Strategic Recruitment Operations & Tools
· Leverage Modern Sourcing Frameworks: Optimize the recruitment team’s usage of enterprise ATS platforms (Workday, Greenhouse, or Lever) alongside advanced outbound tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Sales Navigator, and specialized sales databases.
· Employer Branding: Elevate our company's employer brand within the commercial and enterprise sales communities to establish us as a premier destination for high-earning sales professionals.
· Data-Driven Insights: Provide weekly and quarterly hiring forecasts, time-to-hire metrics, and cost-per-hire analyses directly to the executive sales leadership team (CRO / VP of Sales).
3. Compliance & Onboarding Integration
· Offer Management & Compensation Collaboration: Partner closely with internal compensation and legal teams to structure complex sales offer letters, including base salaries, OTE (Official Target Earnings), commission accelerators, and sign-on bonuses.
· Local California Alignment: Oversee standard hiring compliance patterns specific to the San Jose/California market, ensuring fair hiring practices, transparent pay structures, and robust background vetting.
Required Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s/MBA preferred.
· Experience: 10+ years of overall recruiting experience, with a minimum of 5+ years dedicated exclusively to Sales/GTM hiring in a high-growth tech or corporate environment.
· Leadership Depth: 3+ years managing, mentoring, and coaching a team of high-performing recruiters and talent sourcers.
· Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of tech sales structures (SaaS metrics, hunter vs. farmer dynamics, multi-tiered enterprise sales cycles, and complex compensation/commission planning).
· Location & Network: Strong regional network within the San Jose/Bay Area sales landscape, with a firm grasp of local market compensation trends.
· Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with modern ATS infrastructure, CRM recruiting tools, and collaborative communication platforms.
Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
