Electrical Superintendent

Primary Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee a team of electricians and apprentices
- Check and test work
- Maintain a schedule of work and deliveries
- Plan tasks several weeks in advance
- Material control and ordering
- Represent the company at job planning and coordination meetings
- Communicate and coordinate work with clients and other contractors
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Fill and submit paperwork in a timely manner
Knowledge, Skills and Ethics:
- Conduct work activities with the highest level of ethics and integrity
- Possess in-depth working knowledge of applicable OSHA safety requirements
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of NFPA 70 National Electrical Code
- Have basic computer skills (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Possess strong planning and organization skills
- Have the ability to make decisions in a timely manner
- Exhibit strong, effective written and oral communication skills
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Must be resilient and a team player.
- Have the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Be a creative, aggressive self-starter.
Additional Abilities and Skills Required:
- Have the ability to work while using the appropriate safety equipment and clothing
- Have the training to safely use the many types of tools and equipment required for the performance of the work, including scissors lifts, forklifts, drills, saws, testing equipment, scaffolding, etc.
Other Requirements:
- Valid OSHA 30 card preferred
- Must possess a valid State issued Driver’s License and be insurable for the operation of business vehicles
- Must possess dependable transportation to and from work site
- Minimum of six (6) years experience as Journeyman Electrician or foreman (we are an open shop company)
- Minimum of three (3) years experience as Superintendent on large projects
- We are participants in the Ohio Drug Free Work Place program so applicants must be able to pass a drug test and comply with all DFWP regulations

Pay: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
