Responsibilities
- Assemble, inspect, and package sterile dental instruments and tools according to strict sterilization protocols.
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, and sterilizers, as well as help clean rooms between patients.
- Manage inventory levels of sterile supplies, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment of essential items.
- Perform decontamination procedures for used instruments, adhering to infection prevention management standards.
- Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, instrument processing logs, and quality assurance documentation.
- Follow strict aseptic techniques during all stages of instrument handling to prevent contamination and infection spread.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure all sterilized equipment meets regulatory standards for infection control and safety.
