Join our dynamic team as a Local Truck Driver, where your expertise will drive the backbone of our logistics operations! In this energetic role, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting fuel within local routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles on local delivery routes.
- Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries and optimize travel paths.
- Transport gas and diesel (hazmat) following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and hazardous materials regulations.
- Maintain compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, including hours of service and vehicle inspections.
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, ensuring adherence to logistics cargo handling standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or issues encountered on the road.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving within local areas.
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with endorsements for hazardous materials (Hazmat).
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving.
- Excellent navigation skills using GPS systems to follow designated routes efficiently.

Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
