Job Overview
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills to maintain and repair complex machinery and systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical components, and mechanical parts
- Daily checks of equipment and walk throughs to assess punch list/tasks for the day
- Troubleshoot issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis techniques to identify root causes
- Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks
- Repair or replace components involving high voltage or low voltage electrical systems following safety protocols
- Conduct welding operations
- Maintain safety standards by working with equipment like scissor lifts and adhering to OSHA regulations
- Assist in the installation of new machinery or upgrades to existing systems
- Support field service activities as needed for equipment troubleshooting at various locations within the facility or customer sites
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings for complex mechanical and electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures during maintenance activities
- Able to lead a team of entry level and intermediate technicians
- 1st shift requirement for start time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
