Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual for an experienced Electrical Engineer/Panel Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in learning to build and integrate systems. As a Panel Technician, you will play a role in the fabrication, assembly, testing and installation of components and systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Responsibilities
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to drill and mount components for systems on back plates according to specifications.
- Test and calibrate equipment using logic controllers and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Experience with diesel generator systems, including generator paralleling, operational functionality, troubleshooting, and conduction load analysis to ensure optimal system performance
- Knowledge of design of electrical panels, switchgears & general builds.
- PLC knowledge
- Mechanical building and installation knowledge
- Computer and design knowledge with AutoCad and Solid Works is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
