Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server and Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's point-of-sale system.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including specials and wine pairings.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food preparation and service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Maintain an organized workspace, including the kitchen area, to promote efficiency.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience.
- Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations is essential.
- Proficient in cash register operation and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
