Oakdale OBGYN, with clinic locations in Blaine, Maple Grove and Plymouth is seeking a full-time CNA or Medical Assistant (MA/CMA/RMA). This role is vital to our practice in delivering exceptional care to our patients.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about women's healthcare and enjoy working with people!
The position will be assigned to work in all clinic locations based on staffing needs. The schedule will be: M/T 10:00am-7:00pm, W/F 7:30am-4:30pm and off on Thursday. Occasional Saturday mornings will be required as well. Previous experience as a CNA or medical assistant is preferred, as are phlebotomy skills.
$1,000 signing bonus will be payable upon successful completion of 90 days of employment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect thorough medical information, vital signs and labwork
- Perform required lab skills (fingersticks, injections, urinalysis, phlebotomy)
- Process in-house labs
- Provide patient education
- Accurate documentation in electronic health record
- Complies with CLIA, COLA and OSHA regulations
- Complies with HIPAA and Patient Confidentiality regulations
- Maintains an organized and safe environment in the lab and exam room
- Ordering and stocking of supplies
Qualifications
- High School Diploma is required, completion of CNA or Medical Assistant or associate degree in science with Medical Assistant or like training preferred.
- One year clinic experience is preferred.
- Skilled in computer operation, lab processes and medical terminology
- Ability to work well with patients and co-workers in a stressful and fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.52 - $35.61 per hour
