The Unified Clinics at Western Michigan University is a large, multi-specialty group practice that provides high-quality clinical services to the community while also providing valuable clinical training experiences for students in the College of Health and Human Services.
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and highly organized individual to join our front office team and help support the daily operations of our multi-disciplinary clinic.
Our Work Environment
- Well-lit, climate-controlled office setting
- Monday–Thursday work schedule
- Approximately 32–35 hours per week

About the Position
The ideal candidate will have a welcoming personality, excellent communication and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy clinical environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering and managing multiple phone lines
- Registering, scheduling, and checking in patients
- Collecting patient payments
- Sending emails and faxes as needed
- Scanning and maintaining patient records
- Taking and processing patient referral calls
- Managing the clinic email account
- Coordinating and managing room reservations for our multi-disciplinary clinic
- Completing accurate patient registration
- Performing basic insurance verification
- Providing friendly, professional customer service to patients, students, faculty, and clinical staff

Position Details
This is a non-benefits-eligible position. Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
