Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated IT Technician Intern to join our dynamic technology team. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring IT professionals to gain hands-on experience in supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure across various platforms. The intern will assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting network administration, and providing exceptional technical support to end-users. Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently
- Support software troubleshooting efforts across various applications, including specialized enterprise tools
- Contribute to the management of computer hardware assets and mobile devices through inventory tracking and setup
- Support network administration activities involving switches like Meraki, Active Directory management, GPO implementation, and network security protocols
- Assist with help desk ticketing systems .
- Collaborate with senior team members on projects involving Linux servers, Windows Server environments, or other enterprise systems
- Develop analysis skills by troubleshooting complex technical problems and proposing effective solutions
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic understanding of computer networking concepts including LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP protocols
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows (including Windows Server), macOS, and Linux
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals
- Experience with remote support tools like VPNs and remote desktop applications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning new technologies and IT support practices
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
