Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 5th Grade Teacher to inspire and educate young learners in a vibrant classroom environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the academic and social development of students, fostering a love for learning across core subjects such as literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies.
Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

Utilize effective classroom management strategies to create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.

Incorporate learning technology tools to enhance instruction and facilitate interactive lessons.

Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing and ongoing observations.

Provide individualized tutoring and support for students needing extra help in literacy education, math, or special education needs such as working with children with autism or early intervention programs.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to develop tailored educational plans that support early childhood development and behavioral management.

Support students’ social-emotional growth by fostering positive behavior management techniques and encouraging respectful communication skills.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.

Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education strategies, and behavior management techniques.

Experience with curriculum development across core subjects such as literacy education, math, science, and social studies.

Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, colleagues, and community members.

Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with special needs or those requiring early intervention support.
