This Opportunity

The Field Service Technician II will provide technical and logistical support for customers for Komline-Sanderson supplied systems and equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities

Perform commissioning tasks such as mechanical and electrical checks, equipment verification, and proper installation ready for operation

Record appropriate initial operations data while performing equipment optimization and tests

Supervise and coordinate start-up efforts from product lines and outside vendors to ensure system compliance within the scope of the customer’s performance criteria

Coordinate contractors and other onsite personnel to oversee activities and inspect work-in-progress

Implement operational requirements to ensure success during equipment trials and review specifications with the customer to ensure equipment compliance

Produce accurate progress reports and site reviews for the Project Manager and Customer Representative, developing and maintaining punch lists to track outstanding items and deficiencies for project completion
Qualifications
-
Associate’s degree, trade school, or military training

5+ years of field service experience

Possess knowledge of process equipment control panels, motor starters, AC/DC drives, and instrumentation

Experience with programmable controllers and operator interface terminals

Minimum of 3 years' experience with programmable controllers and operator interface terminals

Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and operation and maintenance manuals

Experience working with mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and operation and maintenance manuals
-
Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Suite

Collaborate with others and working in a team environment
-
Travel up to 70% to customer sites

Available to train 3-6 months at our facility in Peapack, New Jersey
