Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Master Remodeling Carpenter with 15+ years of professional remodeling experience to help lead and execute complex residential remodeling projects.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, producing exceptional craftsmanship, and taking ownership of their work from demolition through the finished details.
This is NOT an entry-level position and is NOT primarily a framing position.
We're looking for someone who notices the details others overlook. Compensation is based on demonstrated skill level, experience, craftsmanship, productivity, and overall value brought to our team.
Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality residential remodeling projects from start to finish.
- Interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution.
- Perform finish carpentry, custom trim, cabinetry installation, door and window installation, flooring, decking, framing modifications, and other remodeling tasks.
- Install cabinetry, millwork, interior doors, exterior doors, windows, stair components, hardware, and finish materials with precision.
- Perform structural remodeling as required while maintaining quality and code compliance.
- Work independently while communicating effectively with project managers, homeowners, subcontractors, and fellow team members.
- Troubleshoot unforeseen field conditions and develop practical solutions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite while respecting homeowners and their property.
- Represent Get It Rite Construction professionally on every project.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of professional carpentry experience
- Extensive residential remodeling experience
- Advanced finish carpentry skills
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and building materials
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Professional-grade hand tools
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of construction work
