Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring high-quality servings every time
- Operate POS systems
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and give correct change in accordance with retail math principles
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including kitchen equipment, food prep areas, and customer service stations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while following sanitation protocols for food handling and storage
Qualifications
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated skills in food preparation, food safety management, and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods without compromising quality or service
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail sales transactions
- Experience working in the food industry or retail store environments such as grocery stores or cafés is advantageous
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace in compliance with health standards
