Our Plating team is proud of their contributions, supporting a broad range of internal and external customers and requests while ensuring the uninterrupted development and manufacturing of high-tech products for key industries like aerospace and defense. You’ll direct and maintain all plating and chemical surface finishing processes and related activities.
Are You Looking to:
- Clean and plate using the correct methods, correct measuring devices, process control methods, etc.
- Rack and barrel plate parts per methods.
- Perform chemical analysis on plating baths and waste plant discharge.
- Develop, perform, and interpret test analysis and results to evaluate chemical processes.
- Manage waste streams and effectively treat and store waste for a Zero Discharge Facility.
- Chemically clean metal for preparation of plating.
- Use XRF machine to measure plating thickness then file paperwork
- Perform operations in established sequence to process components through electroless or electroplating and drying processes to impart a protective coating of the desired type. e.g. copper, nickel, gold, silver, tin and etc. to required thickness.
- Maintain solutions within proper operating parameters.
- Regulate current input and plating time to obtain desired thickness of plate per instructions/methods.
Are You Ready to
- Participate in ISO, NADCAP and Lean Manufacturing methodologies for problem prevention, corrective action, identification, and solution verification.
- Monitor process operating parameters and correct deviations from established set points.
- Perform hands–on surface finishing operations
- Prioritize work orders per documented procedures.
Job Requirements:
What You’ll Need
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- One or more years’ experience in relevant plating and/or chemical processes, which includes titration, atomic absorption, and wastewater treatment experience.
