Stronghold Property Services LLC (SPS) located in Lancaster PA is currently hiring part time / seasonal help for the upcoming Winter Season.
Hiring is for Part Time / Seasonal Employment, with Full Time potential.
Job Summary: This is an "On Call" position that requires the assistance of the hired crew member, during winter storms, to be available for snow / ice removal. The crew member will typically perform a variety of tasks, which include shoveling, snow blowing, and applying salt to all cleared areas. Services are for Commercial and Residential properties.
Crew Member: will be required to be available during, and after a snow storm, Night or Day. Service for certain properties may need to begin as early as 5am, in order to begin clearing prior to an 8am deadline.
Winter Positions:
- Walkway Crew: $20.00hr
- Snow Plow Operator: $35.00hr
Pay for all positions/ type of work depends on experience.
Payroll: Bi-weekly.
W4 & I9 Forms will be required to be filled out and submitted, prior to work, if accepted.
Responsibilities:
Care of equipment being used, and correct operations.
Care of the property being serviced, so as not to cause any damage.
Shovel snow from walkways, driveways, and parking areas, and spread salt in those cleared areas.
Use of snow blower, if, and when needed, and knowledge on how to operate ( training available)
Follow directions from the Crew Leader and General Manager.
Be aware of your surroundings and practice caution and safety at all times.
Wear proper dress attire for the outdoor weather conditions.
Be prepared with food and drink.
Other duties as assigned that assist with these particular services.
⦁ Must have own transportation.
Snow Plow Operator's responsibility and care for vehicle and equipment. Experience necessary.
Qualifications
Walkway Crew: Some experience in snow removal is a plus, but not required.Snow Plow Operator: Experience necessary.
Ability to handle the physicality of our work: weather conditions, heavy lifting, and extensive walking.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in severe weather conditions.
Extensive walking and standing for long periods.
Ability to use a snow shovel, snow blower, and spread salt.
Year Round work for Lawn Care & Landscaping and Junk Removal Available
In Need of Skilled Labor, familiar with:
⦁ Following scope of work instructions
⦁ Ability to drive truck with trailer ( anywhere from 10’-20’)
⦁ Must have a valid Drivers License
⦁ Lawn Care equipment operations ( Experience with Zero Turn Mowers / Trimmers etc.)
⦁ Work independently and with a team
⦁ Responsible for Photo Documentation of work.
