We are seeking a skilled and experienced technician to join our team. As an experienced mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and equipment in a fast paced busy shop. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify mechanical issues
- Repair and replace faulty components and systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Use specialized tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of repairs
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanic
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical principles
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- A Valid driver's license and clean driving record
