Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee our restaurant operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily front of house operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Train, mentor, and manage front of house staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage the POS system effectively.
- Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new team members as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure timely service and address any issues that arise during service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations.
- Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to enhance guest experiences.
Skills
- Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing.
- Previous supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations gracefully.
- Experience in team management, fostering collaboration among staff members.
- Familiarity with interviewing techniques to select qualified candidates for the team.
- Comprehensive understanding of food safety standards and regulations within the food industry.
- Background in restaurant management with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency.
- Experience in serving, barista duties, or hotel operations is a plus.
