Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Barback, where you will play a vital role in supporting the bar operations by ensuring a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment. As a key team member, you will assist bartenders with food and beverage prep, maintain cleanliness, and ensure that all areas are stocked and organized for optimal guest service. Your energetic attitude and attention to detail will help create memorable experiences for our guests while fostering a lively and hospitable atmosphere. This is a tipped position.
Responsibilities
- Restock bar supplies, glassware, and utensils to ensure seamless service throughout shifts
- Assist with food preparation, including basic meal assembly and garnishing as needed
- Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, cleaning bar surfaces, and sanitizing work areas in accordance with food safety standards
- Support servers by bussing tables, clearing empty glasses, and resetting tables promptly
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating supply needs to management
- Support beverage preparation under bartender supervision
- Uphold high standards of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation practices at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/hostess, busser, or bartender is preferred
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including order taking, serving, and Toast POS
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper dishwashing techniques
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent in-person customer service
- Basic math skills for managing orders and payments confidently
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and beverage cases as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform routine cleaning and stocking duties.
Pay: From $15.16 per hour
