Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista/ice cream scooper to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to provide exceptional service and maintain a clean and organized workspace will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food items are prepared with attention to quality and presentation.
- Operate the Square POS system for order processing, cash handling, and payment transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and support.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in cash handling with basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- A genuine desire to help customers and provide outstanding service at all times.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
