Duties
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, sourcing, and category management, to ensure optimal inventory levels and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate transportation planning and freight management, working with third-party logistics providers and fleet management teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing.
- Conduct demand planning and inventory control to meet e-commerce fulfillment needs while maintaining accurate inventory records through inventory management systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during materials handling, forklift operation, packaging, and dispatching activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics coordination, or warehouse operations with a strong understanding of transportation management systems.
- Hands-on experience with procurement, sourcing, category management, and demand planning within a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with freight forwarding, shipping & receiving procedures, NVOCC operations, and 3PL partnerships.
- Skilled in using ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms for data analysis and operational reporting.
- Knowledge of materials handling equipment, including forklifts; certification is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in transportation planning, dispatching, order fulfillment, and inventory control.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments, including procurement, operations management, and customer service teams.
