Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods. This role involves operating a 18-wheeler semi truck. (TWIC) card is required.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Follow designated routes for deliveries while maintaining accurate logs of mileage, fuel use, and delivery times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in driving
- Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other types of commercial vehicles.
- Strong truck driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Previous delivery driver experience is preferred.
- Excellent route driving skills with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
