Position: Toddler Teacher (Ages 18 months to 3 years)

We are looking for an exceptional individual that has a strong background and experience in a Montessori classroom to join our growing school. Qualifications:
Our ideal teacher can meet the following criteria:
Education and Experience:
Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma required; college diploma preferred
1+ year experience in a Montessori classroom
Montessori Credential preferred
Willing to complete Texas Rising Star training requirements
CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to acquire
Must pass State background check and FBI Fingerprint Check
Bilingual a plus

Possess a strong understanding of child development (18 months to 36 months)

Willingness to make student-centered decisions
Willingness to foster a harmonious professional teaching team based on mutual respect

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to foster meaningful relationships with families and communicate warmly and professionally with parents daily using provided digital tools
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for toddlers, emphasizing early literacy, math concepts, and social-emotional skills.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom; manage daily routines, transitions, and behavioral guidance with consistent procedures.
- Monitor and document child progress, communicate with families about milestones and concerns, and adapt instruction to individual needs including support for early intervention when applicable.
- Collaborate with staff to plan curriculum, maintain records, and ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and safety protocols.
- Foster a positive learning environment through engaging activities, gentle guidance, and ongoing assessment of each child’s growth.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
