The Per‐Diem Registered Nurse provides essential clinical oversight for Home Health Aides in a non‐skilled home care setting. Responsibilities include conducting supervisory visits, completing client assessments, updating care plans, and ensuring aides follow agency policies and New Jersey Board of Nursing regulations. The RN role focuses on assessments, documentation, safety monitoring, and communication with clients, families, and agency leadership. This flexible per‐diem position supports high‐quality, dependable care while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
· Registered Nurse licensed in the State of NJ for at least one years
· Consistent and dependable transportation for conducting home visits
· An approachable attitude that helps build professional relationships with clients and colleagues
· Familiarity with suprapubic Foley, ostomy bags, and trach/vent care is considered beneficial
· Prefer one year experience in geriatric care
· Ability to supervise, guide, and develop skills and performance of service personnel
· Works independently and follows directions
· Strong communication and presentation skills
· Skilled in organization and problem-solving
Responsibilities
· Open new cases by assessing client needs and preparing Care Plans
· Conduct ongoing case monitoring, including 60-day client visits and 30-day client check-in phone calls
· Ensure all safety and infection control practices are properly followed
· Respond promptly to emergency situations
· Communicate effectively with other members of the home health team
· Ensure all required documentation is complete and compliant with state and accrediting standards
· Communicate with patients and families regarding treatment and care
Pay: $36.00 - $45.00 per hour
