Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our property. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks
- Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and service quality
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces regularly to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to optimize efficiency and reduce waste
- Develop work schedules that align with occupancy levels and operational needs
- Enforce safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or janitorial services within a hospitality or hotel setting
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team effectively
- Extensive cleaning, custodial, laundry, and commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality standards is highly advantageous
- Demonstrated leadership in managing housekeeping management systems or software is a plus
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments enhances understanding of guest service expectations
