River Saint Joe is a farmstead brewery and farm destination located a stone’s throw from the St. Joseph River on Flatwater Farms, a beautiful organic farm in Buchanan, Michigan. We’re looking for passionate, hard-working, fun, and experienced persons to join the team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work directly with Kitchen Manager in the kitchen to craft a unique and fresh offering from the farm and on the farm.
- Ensure the highest level of food quality and diligently follow SOPs.
- Maintain equipment and a clean kitchen.
- Assist Manager and in some cases, take responsibility for procuring, receiving, processing, and monitoring raw materials to keep the kitchen running smoothly and in line with and sustainable requirements.
- Think creatively about resources usage and minimization, including by-product recycling and reuse.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to work positively and productively with Manager and other staff.
- Minimum one year experience in the kitchen.
- Potential to take on leadership roles.
- Willingness to work with the team do what is necessary to further the business and its mission and vision.
