As an RN on the Home Care Team, you will deliver the best possible care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. In this role, you will provide assessments, complex treatments and education to help avoid readmissions to the acute care setting and ensure comfort. This position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance, all while changing the lives of your patients and their loved ones every day. Hospice helps patients and their families prepare physically, emotionally and spiritually for the end of life. Cleveland Clinic’s hospice team includes physicians certified in hospice and palliative medicine, nurses, social workers, chaplains, home health aides and volunteers. This is a PRN role. A caregiver in this position works between 11:00am and 11:30pm. Requirements include every other weekend and 1 winter/1 summer holiday on rotation every 3 years.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
One year of clinical experience as an RN in an acute medical/surgical setting
Valid Driver’s License (VDL) in Ohio and proof of automobile insurance with $100,000/$300,000 coverage
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Physical Requirements:
- Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $43.00
Maximum hourly: $43.00
