As a Bilingual Youth Development Specialist, you'll work directly with adolescents in a structured residential treatment setting, helping them develop accountability, emotional regulation, life skills, and healthier decision-making.

Fluency in both English and Spanish is required, as you'll communicate effectively with youth and support their daily success within the program.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise and mentor youth throughout daily routines, recreation, education, and treatment programming
- Build positive professional relationships while reinforcing structure, accountability, and appropriate behavior
- Help create a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment
- Conduct room checks, headcounts, and monitor youth throughout the facility
- Observe behaviors and respond appropriately using approved crisis intervention techniques
- Process youth admissions and support daily programming
- Assist during emergencies by following established safety procedures
- Complete daily documentation, reports, and behavioral observations
- Communicate effectively with youth, families, and team members in both English and Spanish
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on rehabilitation and long-term success

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to obtain required Pennsylvania clearances (State Police, Child Abuse, and FBI)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, TB test, and drug screening
- Ability to safely respond to crisis situations using approved intervention techniques
- Ability to successfully pass federal, state, and child abuse background checks
Experience working in youth services, behavioral health, residential treatment, corrections, coaching, education, military, security, or human services is highly preferred but not required.
