In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients, staff, and referral sources by managing front office operations efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being the anchor of a clinic and keeping operations running smoothly.
As you master this role, you’ll take on increased responsibility—becoming a go-to resource for front office operations, supporting training and process improvements.

Serve as the primary front‑of‑office contact for patients and visitors

Manage patient intake, registration, and insurance verification

Collect copays, deductibles, and co‑insurance

Schedule follow‑up appointments and coordinate care plans

Maintain accurate electronic health records

Partner with internal teams (including RCM) to support clinic operations

Help identify workflow improvements and support front office consistency

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

Minimum of 4 years experience in a related healthcare administration role

Experience in a receptionist position or experience with medical front office procedures preferred.

Be at minimum a good fit for the job, as determined by the Talent Sorter assessment preferred. Hanger will administer the Talent Sorter as part of the selection process
