JOB DESCRIPTION:
●Must know how or be able to learn to program, set up and adjust machine to run acceptable quality parts with minimal down time
●Must know how or be able to learn to train in quality standards and blueprint reading to know that parts are acceptable and within tolerance, grain direction, correct edge banding
●Must know how or be able to learn to read labels for banding application purposes
●Must know how or be able to learn basic computer skills
●Must know how or be able to learn to read a tape measure to check size and squareness
●Must know how or be able to learn to use calipers
●Must have ability to follow and execute specific instructions
●Must have ability to problem solve errors in programs and reprogram when necessary
●Must be able to work with management and supervisors to fill production needs as defined
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Must be 18 years old to work on manufacturing floor
● High School diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
● 1 year machining experience preferred
● Machining and manufacturing experience is desirable but not necessary
● Basic math skills required
● Ability to work within a team environment required
● Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required
● Ability to problem solve required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.80 per hour
