Job Summary
Myshock Tool and Die makes small precision components for medical devices. We are looking for a skilled CNC machinist to join our team on first shift (5:00 AM – 3:30 PM) 4 days a week (3 day weekends!). Precision grinding experience is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities
· Follow written work instructions to manufacture parts
· Properly operate, load, and unload machines
· Read and interpret blueprints to ensure compliance
· Perform quality inspections using micrometers and calipers and neatly document
· Perform operator level machine maintenance
· Follow safe practices and housekeeping instructions
· Identify and communicate machine operation and part quality problems
· Read, write and speak English
· Math competency to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Ideal candidates
· 3+ years of CNC machining experience (Milltronics, Emco)
· Mechanical aptitude
· Competent in blueprint analysis and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
· Horizontal precision surface grinding experience at +/- 0.0002” (Acer, Harig) is a plus
· Ability to multi-task and operate multiple machines
· Set up and programming CNC machining centers and lathes
· Dependable, detail-oriented, and a great team player
