Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to inform treatment plans.
- Administer medications via various routes including injections, IV infusions, and catheterizations while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Manage complex clinical procedures such as wound suturing, tube feeding, ventilator management, and dialysis treatments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and medical documentation standards.
- medication administration records (MAR), and lab result documentation.
- Educate patients and families on health coaching topics including medication use, discharge planning, and chronic disease management such as diabetes or heart conditions.
Skills
- Proven experience working in diverse clinical settings including hospital medicine, emergency room (ER), intensive care units (ICU), or post-acute care environments.
- Skilled in performing invasive procedures such as phlebotomy, venipuncture, catheterization (urinary or vascular), and sterile processing techniques.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks; capable of detailed medical documentation and specimen processing.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges; experience in geriatrics or memory/dementia care is a plus.
- Knowledge of infection control practices including aseptic technique; competent in handling trauma medicine cases at Level I/II trauma centers or trauma medicine units.
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
