Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and attentive service while taking drink orders.
- Process transactions accurately using cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations in accordance with local laws and company policies.
- Provide recommendations on drink pairings and menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage service standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and calculating tabs accurately.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous experience in hospitality is required.
