Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision and support to youth during assigned shifts.

Build positive, professional relationships with residents.

Assist youth with daily living activities, routines, and personal development goals.

Facilitate recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities.

Implement treatment plans and behavior support strategies as directed.

Monitor resident behavior and document observations accurately.
-
Assist with transportation to appointments, school, and community activities.
-
Conduct room checks, safety checks, and facility inspections as required.

Respond appropriately to behavioral crises and emergency situations.
-
Encourage positive social interactions and conflict resolution skills.

Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
-
Complete required documentation and reports before the end of each shift.

Attend staff meetings and mandatory training sessions.
Requirements:
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Experience working with youth, behavioral health, social services, education, or residential care preferred.
-
Ability to work with youth experiencing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
-
CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Prevention/Intervention certification (or ability to obtain).
-
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
-
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
