The successful candidate will provide leadership for all aspects of the baseball program while fostering a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, accountability, and academic achievement.Essential Responsibilities-Lead and oversee all aspects of the high school baseball program.-Build positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, school staff, and the community.-Promote character, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.-Collaborate with youth and junior high programs to develop a consistent philosophy throughout the district.-Organize and supervise practices, competitions, off-season workouts, and summer activities in accordance with OHSAA regulations.-Maintain inventory and care of equipment and facilities.-Ensure compliance with all Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA), Blanchard Valley Conference, Putnam County League, and district policies.-Work cooperatively with the Athletic Director and school administration to support the mission of Pandora-Gilboa Local Schools.Qualifications-Previous coaching experience is preferred.-Demonstrated knowledge of baseball fundamentals, strategy, and player development.-Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.-Ability to positively motivate and mentor student-athletes.Must possess or be able to obtain all required coaching certifications, including: -Pupil Activity Permit through the Ohio Department of Education-Required OHSAA coaching certificationsCompensationSalary will be based on the negotiated supplemental salary schedule and experience.Application ProcessInterested candidates should submit: -Letter of interest-Resume-List of professional referencesApplications should be submitted to: Matt HersheyAthletic
