Join our dynamic team as a GMP Cleanroom Technician working the 3rd shift, where your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance in a controlled manufacturing environment. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining sterile conditions within cleanrooms used for pharmaceutical or biotech production, adhering strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of cleanroom environments using approved cleaning agents and industrial cleaning techniques.
- Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling procedures and safety protocols to prevent contamination or accidents.
- Maintain GMP compliance by following detailed cleaning schedules, documenting activities accurately, and adhering to strict sanitation standards.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) including respirators, gloves, gowns, and eye protection consistently to ensure personal safety and product integrity.
- Assist with the setup, calibration, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies within the cleanroom environment.
- Conduct routine inspections of cleanroom areas to identify potential contamination risks or cleanliness issues and report findings promptly.
- Support warehouse or custodial tasks related to chemical storage, waste disposal, and inventory management for cleaning supplies.
Requirements
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial work, food processing, manufacturing, or warehouse environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP standards, sanitation procedures, chemical handling safety practices, and use of PPE in regulated environments.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cleaning tasks or when handling supplies.
- Basic math skills for measuring chemicals accurately and maintaining records.
- Strong understanding of chemical handling safety procedures and respiratory protection requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining sterile conditions in a controlled environment.
- Proven ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working independently or as part of a team.
