We are committed to delivering accurate and timely service while maintaining high operational standards. We are currently seeking a Shipping Assistant to support our growing operations team.
Job Summary
The Shipping Assistant helps coordinate and prepare outgoing shipments to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on schedule. This position supports shipping operations through documentation, inventory verification, package preparation, and communication with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare orders for shipment by verifying product quantities and packaging requirements.
- Print and apply shipping labels and complete shipping documentation.
- Assist with coordinating outbound shipments and carrier pickups.
- Verify order accuracy before shipment and report discrepancies.
- Maintain shipping records and update shipment information in company systems.
- Track shipment status and assist with resolving shipping-related issues.
- Organize shipping materials and maintain adequate supply levels.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock movement when needed.
- Keep shipping and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow company procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Perform additional warehouse and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary.
