Job Summary:
Transport members, upon request, to appointments within the tribal service area in a safe and
respectable manner.
Duties:
- Communicate Transportation procedure to tribal community members.
- Make weekly schedule ahead of time.
- Keep current on each weekly schedule.
- Let clients know if a Transporter is available for transport.
- Confirm each transportation request, either by phone call or home visits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport members to and from appointments.
- Ensure members have proper documentation before transporting.
Requirements:
- Must be over 21 years of age.
- Must be insurable through tribal insurance.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must complete first aid training and CPR training and become certified.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions of supervisor.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Must be dependable.
- Must pass a pre-employment alcohol/drug screening
