Position Summary
As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in helping our pediatric dentists deliver high-quality care. This position involves chairside assisting, restorative procedures, radiographs, and patient education in a positive and team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist pediatric dentists with restorative procedures (fillings, sealants, etc.)
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Provide patient education and support during treatment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient operatory
- Follow updated infection control and sterilization protocols
Requirements
- Current Pennsylvania EFDA license (required)
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred; pediatric experience a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Positive, professional attitude and team-focused mindset
